Recently in Qinghai province in northwest China, a man sleeping at a hotel front desk had an unexpected encounter when a brown bear opened the door by itself and wandered into the hotel in search of food. The bear paced back and forth beside the man's bed. Upon waking, the man quickly got up and left the room, even remembering to grab his phone from the counter on his way out. Experts advise that if you encounter a bear, the last thing you should do is scream or run away suddenly. Instead, remain calm and quietly retreat - like this guy did.
