Like many Canadians, we are keeping an eye on the upward trend of new COVID-19 cases in the country. Health officials are urging everyone to continue the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 as we navigate the re-opening of schools and businesses. Despite the warnings and fears of a second wave, there are people ignoring restrictions intended to prevent new infections. But as Mike Drolet reports, being in one province without a mask could land you a hefty fine.

The concerns over a potential second wave are raising questions over the federal government’s pandemic plan going forward. This week Mercedes Stephenson raises those questions with health minister Patty Hajdu as well as the Conservative health critic.
