Join us as we continue our tour through the magnificent city of Bangkok, Thailand.

After an amazing couple of nights at the beautiful Conrad Bangkok and partaking in some delicious Thai cooking classes, we enjoyed another one of their delicious breakfasts before heading out to discover the Royal Grand Palace.

Situated in the heart of Bangkok, and spread across 200,000 m2, the Royal Grand Palace is a complex of multiple buildings that together make up Bangkok’s #1 tourist attraction.

The entrance fee for foreigners was 500 THB or around 15 USD, and tickets were available between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm. There was also a very strict dress code to enter.

Full of beautiful gardens, complex architecture, intricate ornamentation, monasteries, governmental offices, a museum, and a whole lot more, the Palace kept our attention for hours.

The Royal Grand Palace is no longer a private residence for the King of Thailand, but it still hosts a good number of official government and royal events.

One of the places we really enjoyed visiting next was Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The tickets cost only 6,5 USD/pax and included a bottle of water, which we really appreciated in the midday heat.

Bangkok is a colorful city with busy streets, rich culture, and welcoming people. It is also famous for its massive malls where you can literally find anything imaginable.

In this video, we take you on a tour of MBK - one of these shopping centers that has over 2000 shops under one roof! It also has three floors of food courts which had us so excited because we LOVE Thai food.
