In this marathon of "New Detectives," several gripping murder cases are explored. In Texas, two women, Sandra Dumont and Darlene Anderson, are discovered buried in a field, leading police to suspect a handyman named Roger Fain. Meanwhile, in California, filmmaker Al Adamson goes missing, and Fred Fulford, who was working on his house, ends up being convicted of his murder. The case of Sherry Morrow is first believed to be an accident but later shows signs of foul play, with her husband as a suspect. Earl Morris is arrested for the murder of his wife Ruby after evidence reveals she was shot instead of taking her own life as he claimed. Lastly, Kirk Bloodsworth, wrongfully convicted of murdering a young girl, is cleared of all charges when DNA evidence proves he didn't commit the crime.
