On March 5, 1962, the 19th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. This ceremony is particularly remembered for Marilyn Monroe's appearance.

Monroe was awarded the Henrietta Award for World Film Favorite – Female, a special recognition for her popularity and impact on Hollywood, despite not being as active in films at the time. She had been facing personal struggles and hadn’t starred in a major film for a couple of years. That night, Marilyn made one of her final public appearances. She wore a glamorous white gown and appeared fragile but still stunning, embodying her classic Hollywood charm.
