The Operation Paintbrush Program in Hollywood provides up to 20 gallons of the high-quality exterior latex paint for free to single-family homeowners in Hollywood. Paint is available in Hollywood the second Saturday during the months of January, April, July and October. Paint can be picked-up at the Department of Public Works, 1600 S. Park Road in Hollywood from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Distribution is on a first come, first served basis while the City's supply lasts. To participate, you must provide your current driver’s license with Hollywood address and a current utility bill as proof of Hollywood residency. The paint colors typically offered are off white, beige, terracotta, gray, and turquoise.

Paint distributed through the Operation Paintbrush program is supplied to participating municipalities by Broward County. The county recycles donated paint that is dropped off at their collection sites by Broward County residents who no longer have a need for it. The Operation Paintbrush Program relies solely on these donations.
