Flight of the Phoenix 2004
The "Flight of the Phoenix" (1964) is a novel by Elleston Trevor about the survivors of a plane crash in the Sahara Desert who must work together to build a new aircraft from the wreckage of their stranded plane in order to escape. A 2004 film adaptation of the same name starring Dennis Quaid also exists. The story revolves around a group of men, including a brilliant engineer and a tormented pilot, who face the harsh realities of the desert and their own internal conflicts as they strive to build a functional plane.
