In April 2003, thrill-seeking climber Aron Ralston heads off alone into Utah's breathtaking Canyonlands National Park, telling no one of his plans. Along the way, he meets two lost hikers, Kristi and Megan, and helps them find their path. They share a joyful detour into a secret underground pool, laughing and bonding in the remote wilderness.
