This is a Motormouth couple car review of the updated 2025 Honda Odyssey minivan. The Odyssey is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, FWD only. What’s New? A redesigned grille, new front and rear bumpers, LED headlamps, updated LED fog lamps and new wheel designs. The interior gets some tweaks as well with more standard features including a new 9” touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 7” digital driver display, a new rear seat entertainment system with a larger high resolution 12.8” screen, more USB-C ports throughout the cabin and the HDMI plug has been relocated to the inside of the console. In the US, add the wireless charger to the list of standard features.
The 2025 Honda Odyssey is a comfortable 8-passenger minivan with plenty of storage. It’s just so versatile and practical with features like the magic slide 2nd row seats with sunshades, a 3rd row magic seat with available sunshades, cabin talk, available cabin watch, an available hands-free power tailgate to help loading and unloading your family and all the gear easy. Standard cloth upholstery in Canada, available leatherette and leather trimmed and also piping on the higher trims. In the US, a leatherette and leather combo is standard.
2025 Honda Odyssey available features include, navigation, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors and an 11-speaker premium audio system. There is no offering of a 360 camera or heated rear seats.
In Canada, the 2025 Honda Odyssey Sport starts at $52,053 CAD, Sport-L $55,053 CAD, Touring $60,453 CAD, Black Edition $62,253 CAD. Pricing includes, freight, PDI and fees.
In the US, EX-L $41,920 USD, Sport-L $43,070 USD, Touring $46,610 USD, Elite $50,880 USD (MSRP).
2025 Honda Odyssey fuel economy, the Odyssey gets 12.2L/100 km, 19 MPG city and 8.5L/100 km, 28 MPG highway. It can tow 3500 pounds.

We are driving the 2025 Honda Odyssey Canadian Black Edition model which is the top trim, it has black exterior accents, red interior trim on the seats and Black Edition badging. It’s priced at
$62,253 CAD including freight, PDI and fees. In the US, the top trim is the Elite model for $50,880 USD (MSRP).
