The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Individual Competition is an all-round competition, consisting of six different logger sports disciplines, divided into three elimination rounds. In the first round, all athletes participate and earn as many points as possible in the three basic disciplines – Underhand Chop, Stock Saw and Standing Block Chop using axes and an off-the-shelf STIHL MS 661 C-M chainsaw. The top eight athletes advance to the second round and compete in the advanced disciplines, Single Buck and Springboard. The best six athletes qualify for the third round featuring the Hot Saw – the deciding round. The athlete with the most points by the end of the third round will be crowned the winner.
