To make a paper airplane, follow these steps:

Start with a rectangular sheet of paper, such as an 8.5 by 11 inch (or A4) sheet.

Fold the paper in half lengthwise (hot dog style), and then unfold it.

Fold the top corners of the paper down to meet the center crease that you just made.

Fold the top edges down again along the crease you just made in step 3, so that the corners are now tucked inside.

Fold the paper in half along the center crease that you made earlier (hot dog style again).

Fold the wings down along the crease at the bottom of the plane's body (hamburger style), so that they stick out from the sides.

Fold the wingtips up slightly to create a slight angle.

Optional: you can add some small cuts to the back of the wings to add some stabilizing fins.

This should result in a paper airplane that you can fly by throwing it through the air. Adjusting the wing shape, angle, and the weight distribution of the plane can help make it fly further and more accurately. Good luck and have fun!
