Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes (1-0) hit the road in Week 2 to take on longtime rival Nebraska (1-0) on Saturday in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Buffs won their season opener, defeating FCS powerhouse North Dakota State 31-26 behind stellar performances from Heisman Trophy candidates Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. The Huskers opened Year 2 of the Matt Rhule era with a dominant 40-7 win over UTEP. Heralded freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola was sharp in his collegiate debut for Nebraska. This will be the 73rd all-time meeting between CU and Nebraska, with the Huskers holding a 49-21-2 series edge.
