Discover the wonders of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as we embark on an unforgettable adventure with our amazing new friend, Honda, whom we met on a flight from Georgia. Honda gave us an insider’s tour of this vibrant city, sharing stories, history, and incredible experiences.

Our journey began with a visit to a historic mosque and mausoleum where Honda’s great-great-grandfather and great-grandfather are buried. These ancestors played a crucial role in preserving the Muslim faith during Stalin’s era, helping Uzbekistan maintain its spiritual and cultural identity.

We then explored the bustling Chorsu Bazaar, indulged in delicious Uzbek cuisine, and visited the lively electronics market. Later, we enjoyed stunning views at Tashkent City Park, shopped for Angelique’s birthday present, and marveled at the intricate designs of the Tashkent subway.

To wrap up each day, we dined at both a Turkish restaurant and a traditional Uzbek eatery, experiencing the city’s rich culinary diversity. This trip was packed with heartwarming moments, amazing food, and unforgettable sights.
