“I just hate having to read from a script!!” …but what if you didn’t have to?!?

YouTube used to be a lot more formal and required lots of bells and whistles (like perfect scripts, cutesy intros, tons of b-roll, and pop-ups galore) to keep your audience’s attention.

BUT, a huge shift that’s happened on YouTube is we don’t need all of that anymore…

Which is actually AMAZING news for us, as business owners & creators, because it’s made video creation more simple than ever.

MY METHOD: Simple 5-point Outlines Detailed Scripts.

People WANT it to feel conversational. They want it to feel like you’re sitting down over coffee and getting to chat.

Scripts are more time consuming to create, and usually lead to videos that sound stiff (more like a meeting to sit down and review your taxes vs. a coffee date with a bestie).

A simple outline looks like: Intro, 3-5 main points you want to cover (with sub-points below each one that you want to be sure to mention), then an outro.

While filming, you simply review each portion of the outline you want to film - film that section - pause to read the next - then repeat.

This keeps your videos conversational while also hitting everything you want to cover.
