What happens when average student Michael is asked by the girl of his dreams to meet up? And why are EcoSoc, the sinister student union society she belongs to, so interested in using his car? And will he make it through the day alive...? A tale of love, violence, and animal rights activism.

Average joe Michael is thrilled when the beautiful Kat asks him to meet her at a deserted sports shed. Arriving in a jacket and tie with a bunch of flowers, he doesn't expect to find her with two other members of the same student union gang, "EcoSoc", in their matching hoodies planning a break-in at a nearby farm, which they suspect is breaking animal rights laws on battery hens. their leader, Blake, takes an instant dislike to Michael, while the giant and psychopathic Russel remains silent. It soon becomes clear that Kat may have been more interested in Michael's car - and him as a getaway driver - than in a date...

Nonetheless, Michael dutifully takes them to the farm. Once he realises how important animal welfare is to Kat, and not wanting to look like a wimp, he even offers to lead the charge into the farmyard in order to try and fee the hens. Blake offers him a knife or a brick to defend himself, and he chooses the knife. This is how Michael ends up breaking into a far at the head of the gang, only to come face to face with an irate farmer brandishing a gun! Will he get out alive?
