In this video, I demonstrate the process of making the bench from one cracked ash board. Once I already made a similar bench which became quite popular with my audience, but this was a wedding anniversary gift to my relatives! So this time I decided to make another ash bench but for my home. I have already found a place for it.
As decoration, I used small walnut branches that I got from my neighbor. Ash is a hardwood that's why I used a floating appearance effect in the design, I'm sure it won't affect its strength.
I am happy with the outcome. The bench turned out strong, stable, quite light and most importantly, this bench attracts the eye. Which was probably my goal.
