The parcel shelf or load cover in a Tesla Model Y does seem to confuse new owners. The Tesla parcel shelf is different to other vehicles and at first seems difficult to use and feels cheap. But give it time and when you're familiar with it, you get used to it and realise that it's actually very simple and quick and easy to use.
