The battle for the city of Kupiansk and its surrounding area, has been one of the most intense since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. Ukraine retook the key city during the 2022 Kharkiv counteroffensive, securing access to the strategic Oskil River. As the battle in the region rages on, the United24 Media team visited the National Guardsmen stationed in the vicinity, to find out how the Ukrainian defenders were faring 3 years into the war. Today, we witness the “King of the Battlefield”, courtesy of the Separate Artillery Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine; and the technological spearpoint of modern warfare - FPV pilots from the “Typhoon” Special Purpose UAV unit.
