I don't know if you have noticed but BMW's don't keep their batteries under the Bonnet. They have 50/50 weight distribution and put as much weight as possible at the back of the car to off set the weight of the engine. This gives them much better handling especially at speed.
So with the battery harder to get to where do you hook up?
