This is just an intro video of the complete switching section course that we have. This MOSFET switching concept video is very helpful in identifying the channel type of MOSFETs like Enhancement type or depletion type.

In other words, E-MOS and D-MOS, the PWM section of the regulator IC in the laptop motherboard use the E-MOS of N channel to provide the regulated voltage at the output of the coil.

This is used in the DCIN section, 3V 5V standby section, Charging section, VRM core section, PCH section, and almost all the sections where PWM or high voltage switching is working.
