Teun Mulder has seized a substantial chip lead in the EPT Prague €5,300 Main Event. Mulder sits atop the leaderboard after a stellar performance on Day 4. Only 16 players remain in contention for the €1,033,520 top prize and the title. Subscribe here:

Mulder aggregated 8,195,000 by the end of the Monday session. He will return to twice as many chips as his nearest competitor, Symeon Alexandridis (4,065,000).

One of the hottest players of the last three years at online tables, Mulder is now showcasing his prowess on the PokerStars-sponsored flagship live poker tour.

Last week, the 27-year-old Dutchman won a €25,000 high roller here at EPT Prague, banking €285,720. Mulder has now placed himself among the favorites to win the 1,190-entry EPT Main Event.

Two former EPT champions will be joining Mulder on the last two tables, both in the bottom half of the provisional standings.

PCA 2013 winner Dimitar Danchev is 10th in chips with 1,730,000, while EPT Prague 2015 champ Hossein Ensan sits in 15th position with a short stack of 565,000.

Danchev is one of four online qualifiers in the remaining field. Manuel Labous, Grzegorz Glowny, and Mario Navarro also won their seats online at PokerStars, for only a fraction of the full EPT Main Event buy-in.
