Audi is scrapping their very criticised decision of naming the even numbers electric and the uneven ICE. The storm was overwhelming of a change that nobody asked for. I have repeatedly raised awareness about it here on the channel, among so many wrong decisions of late. I even stated this in my conversation with the Audi CEO and they have no finally listed. So, shortly said, the C9 generation of the A6, will be called the A6, and not the A7. They will differentiate the ICE and EV simply by adding ”e-tron” to the names. Thanks lord almighty! That’s what I have been saying since day one! Nobody asked for an RS5 Avant and RS7 Avant, cause they beloved RS4 Avant and RS6 Avant would suffer. Unfortunately this decision comes a bit too late for the RS5 Avant, since the A5/S5 is already out.
But let’s celebrate this! This is a MAJOR win for us all.
