B: Hey, how’s it going?
A: Whoa! Did you get a tan?
B: Oh, yeah. It’s noticeable, huh?
A: I thought you were some guy in a Bigfoot suit.
B: Yeah, I know. I think I went(may have gone) a little overboard. I just got back from my trip.
A: Oh, that’s right. I thought you were still on leave.
B: I am. I’m just stopping by to pick up a few things.
A: Oh, OK. So, how was your trip to……
B: Australia.
A: Right. How was it? It must’ve been fun.
B: It was okay.
A: Weren’t you supposed to be there for a couple of weeks?
B: Yeah. That was the plan, but I decided to cut it short.
A: Oh, don’t tell me you and Stacey had a fight.
B: No. (It’s nothing like that) I actually went (on the trip) alone.
A: Really? How come?
B: She couldn’t get out of work.
A: What? All of a sudden?
B: Yeah. Apparently, something really important came up.
A: Damn. That sucks. So, you just went alone?
B: It was her idea actually.
A: Really?
B: Yeah. I wanted to reschedule and it wasn’t too late to cancel, but she insisted that I go.
A: That’s very cool of her.
