Ironland is a sovereign nation founded on a 12-foot circle of land in North Carolina. (@exploreasheville ) What started as a small experiment quickly became a worldwide movement. In just one year, Ironland grew to over 200,000 citizens, established embassies in 50 countries, and even had its flag appear on the field of a professional football team in Ireland. Oh and we made friends with Romania.

But every great nation faces challenges…

Last year, a flood hit the surrounding city, and then a rogue knitting gang invaded, covering our entire territory in a giant crochet glove. Yes, really.

After months of effort, Ironland has been liberated from yarn, and we’re officially back. And this time, we’re leveling up.

To shape Ironland’s future, we’re assembling three special teams, and we need your help:

🔹 Diplomacy Team – This summer, the world’s biggest micronation summit, MicroCon, is happening in Montreal. Leaders from real-life micronations around the world will be there, and Ironland should be too. The Diplomacy Team’s mission? Help Ironland secure a seat at MicroCon and decide which micronations we should form alliances with.

🎵 Anthem Team – Every great nation needs a great anthem. Ironland is finally getting its own national anthem, and this team will help create and record it. Whether you’re musically gifted or just have strong opinions on what makes an anthem iconic, this is your chance to make history.

📍 Land Team – For the first time ever, Ironland is being mapped into individual plots, and every citizen will be assigned their own piece of land—for free. The Land Team will help design and organize this historic moment, giving every citizen an official place in Ironland.
