Dr Harriette Van Spall (McMaster University, CA) talked with Prof Faiez Zannad (University of Lorraine, FR) and Dr Javed Butler (University of Mississippi & Baylor University Medical Center, US) about the DIAMOND trial in a context of RAAS inhibition in HFrEF (NCT03888066).
First presented first at ACC.22., the trial investigated the effects of patiromer compared with placebo on serum K+ in heart failure patients.
