Here are the 4 NEW Features of WhatsApp Application.

1. First one is, Restrict people in adding to Groups

The Group Invitation feature will ensure that no one can randomly add you to a group without your permission, and will be better for privacy. The new feature is available under WhatsApp Settings then Account then Privacy and then Groups.

You will have the option of limiting the privacy settings for Group invitation to three options: Everyone, My Contacts and Nobody. The first one on the list, which is ‘Everyone’ would allow anyone on the messaging platform to add you to groups, even if your number is not saved in their contacts.

The ‘My Contacts’ option will limit Group invites to just contacts of yours. Nobody will ensure that no one can add you to a group. However, group invite links will still work to add someone to a Group chat.

2. Second is to Check how many times the message is Forwarded

WhatsApp is now testing two new features called "Forwarding Info" and "Frequently Forwarded". You can just hold on a message then tap on this i icon at the top to see the forwarded info. Like the same, if a message is forwarded 4+ times, then you may see the message labelled as ‘Frequently Forwarded’ instead of forwarded which is not yet available for beta users.

3. Play consecutive voice messages automatically

If a friend of yours sends you three voice messages at once, and if you play the first voice message, then all the three messages will be played automatically. Earlier, users had to tap the play button manually on every audio message. Well, it’s another handy feature from the Facebook-owned company.

4. Fourth one is for the iOS users: You can lock WhatsApp using FaceID or TouchID

Now you can lock WhatsApp using a TouchID or FaceID without using any application on an iPhone. Please check this video to know the procedure on how you can enable it.

5. Fifth one is a Tip: Preview Voice Memo before sending to a contact

If you send a lot of voice messages using WhatsApp then here is the tip for you. Do you know that you can preview the voice message before sending it to a contact? If not, here is how you can do it.
Just record the voice message by locking it then press the home button. Once you are on the apps screen, again open WhatsApp then preview the recorded audio. If you feel good, just send it or else trash it. Easy, right?
