We had a number of V88 TV Box's, but it seams their is a major quality control issue with this particular android box - We had issues with solder covering the motherboard, which may of caused overheating as well as possible fire risk - I expect one box to maybe suffer from this issue, but this affected 5/10 box's we had purchased, with the rest also having their own individual problems.

Quality control issues may be fixed by the factory since we purchased the box's, but from our experience it was pretty bad.

The firmware for this box is Android 5.1.1 lollipop, it does need some work for it to be stable, overall its ok 'ish'

If you looking for a new box, I don't recommend this at all, for a backup box or a system to have in the spare bedroom or kitchen, then yeah its ok.

Hopefully in time, the Rockchip 3229 is supported more by developers, as this has potential to be an interesting cheap device.
