Overwatch: Classic gameplay on OW2 as D.Va, one of the original 21 heroes that you can only play on this limited time mode where all heroes have their original abilities & ultimate and the same exact balance they had back in OW1. Everything is exactly the same as the original launch on patch 1.0 and it is very different experience from the current game we have now. There is no hero limits, but that only lasts until November 15, where hero limits will be applied for the rest of the event, which also happened in the early life of the game.

Only went as D.Va cause my first ever game on launch Overwatch (not the Beta Test) on the PS4 was on King's Row where I played as her for a first small part of the match, and then I switched to Junkrat for the remaining of the match & ended up with a defeat. I was hoping for the same map for the first match of Overwatch Classic and it actually happened, although this time I'm defending compared to when I was attacking in the original game. The other difference is now playing on the PC platform, but that is because I already played on PS4 a whole lot of it back in 2016 - 2023.

The differences from OW Classic than OW2 are the limited hero roster of 21 heroes that they had at the time of launch. The 12 maps across 4 modes that launched with the game, which also includes the Assault mode (2CP), a mode accessible only in the Arcade on OW2. The damage role is gone, with offense & defense roles returning on the hero selection. They retain the original artwork on the character icons, but the placement of the roles have been changed around, with Tanks being on the left side now. Because Cassidy's original name has controversy behind, he is now placed before Genji instead of after him. Heroes play exactly how they were back on launch, so they will feel different than their OW2 counterparts.

When you launch Overwatch 2 on the Classic update, the Overwatch Cinematic Teaser plays. Whenever you launch the original Overwatch on console, you would see this intro play every time. This was removed in OW2 with no new intro in its place. Because this intro is 2 minutes, I only showed the end of it in the beginning. They still have it on their YouTube channel if you want to watch it.
