Grand Funk Railroad - The Story of GFR
Grand Funk Railroad (or Grand Funk) is an American hard rock band formed in 1969. During 1969-1972, five GFR albums went platinum (the other three went gold); the group's total album circulation in the 70s was over 25 million. Grand Funk Railroad performed an extremely simplified but deafeningly loud version of blues rock; later, music critics began to mention them among the forerunners of stoner rock.
