"Loyal Wingman" refers to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that possess a certain degree of autonomy and can network with traditional piloted fighter jets to carry out coordinated combat missions. The "Loyal Wingman" utilizes artificial intelligence technology and has strong situational awareness capabilities, allowing it to fly autonomously according to pre-set programs, or to execute missions under the control of a piloted aircraft's pilot. In recent years, the "Loyal Wingman" has gradually become a development hotspot for high-end UAVs and is widely regarded as an important component of future unmanned combat systems.
