Joe Cocker (1944–2014) was a British singer who gained fame for his unique vocals and emotional performances.
He began his career under the pseudonym Vance Arnold, and later became the vocalist of The Grease Band.
He is known for his cover version of the song "With a Little Help from My Friends" (The Beatles), which brought him success in the UK and the USA.
In the 1970s, he toured extensively, but faced problems with alcohol and drugs.
His single "Up Where We Belong" (1982) brought him an Academy Award.
He released over 20 studio albums, including "Night Calls", "Have a Little Faith", "Fire It Up".
Concerts in Ukraine: Joe Cocker performed in Kyiv in 2002, 2010 and 2013.

He died on December 22, 2014, from lung cancer.
