A common problem on the Nissan Leaf is that the cabin filter cover breaks and this is the case on the majority of cars I see. Using the filter cover with a missing latch at the top results in air being blown out of the heater box and not going through the cabin filter or the proper air flow path. You can try to secure it with some tape, but the air flow will probably still push the cover off. You can buy a new cover from Nissan (part no. 27276-1FC0A) or if you have a 3D printer, you can download the template from . A very kind viewer of this channel sent me a 3D printed cover after seeing the pollen filter replacement video
This cabin or pollen filter cover is the same in all Nissan Leaf modesl, 24kWh 30kWh, 40kWh and 62kWh.
