Hollywood Tidal Flooding Mitigation Project
All South Florida coastal communities are faced with tidal flooding challenges. In Hollywood, the City is undertaking significant measures to tackle these challenges. The Hollywood Tidal Flooding Mitigation Project is funded by the General Obligation Bond and a grant from the Florida Department of Environtmental Protection. The primary goal of the project is to mitigate flooding associated with King Tides and sea level rise. The project is broken into three phases. The project will start in May 2025 is expected to be done by February 2026.
