Ukraine signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons in 1991 and the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances in 1994—decisions that are often questioned by Ukrainians today. In this video, we will explore a unique site where the last remaining command post and a missile silo have been preserved as museum exhibits, to learn better on kind of power, Ukrainian arsenal once possessed.
The material was produced with the assistance of the International Insurance Fund for Journalists. With the support of the European Center for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF), Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Voices of Ukraine as part of the Hannah-Arendt-Initiative
