After many long, hot summer days, our little clearing in the woods is starting to look more like a clearing! We had to untangle thousands of branches, logs, and treetop brush that was left after the timber harvest. Thank goodness for the power of heavy equipment! We are grateful for all the firewood this yielded, and we have only cleaned up the 1-acre clearing.. let's not talk about the remaining 5+ acres that are still full of tree tops. Stay tuned for more site work progress throughout the rest of this year!
