Alright then. It’s time to show you the facelifted RS3 in a fully detailed video. Sounds, drifts, accelerations, details and beauty shots is all in there.

Also, I just want to take a moment to go deep into this. Because credit needs to go where it’s due. I spent two full days with different new RS3’s, drove surely at least 7-8 hours and 1000km altogether. I drove it hard on track as well, and I came to the conclusion: This is one of the most impressive, if not the most impressive handling Audi I have ever driven. Lapping it full throttle on the track, you immediately notice the difference from the pre-facelift. And I’ve driven probably 100 8Y pre-facelift RS3’s last 3 years. What the Audi engineers have achieved here, I take my hats off to them. And I told them. They were there at the event, and the people that have been working on the car, are people with passion and they love cars! I spend 3 hours talking with them at the dinner table, and oh my did we have good laughs.

Yes, the steering wheel and that gearshifter are still what they a disaster, and the badge situation is gonna be fixed we know that know. But I can’t think about that at this moment, where I really need to give full respect to what the engineers have achieved with being limited to the 400 horses by the board people.

What they have done with the suspension, the ECU/TCU, tyres, wheels, brakes and handling, is blowing me away.
