Mandazi are what one may call the East African donuts. Enjoy Mandazi with a cup of tea at any time of the day and it will feel like you are in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda or Burundi. Happy cooking!!!!

***INGREDIENTS***

* All-purpose flour - 4 cups
* Sugar - 4 table spoons
* Baking powder - 4 teaspoons
* Cardamom- 1 teaspoon
* Margarine- 3 tablespoon
* Eggs - 2
* Milk - 1 cup
* Vegetable oil

Toppings (optional)

* Powdered sugar
* chocolate syrup

Serves about 10 plates
