Game of Thrones - The Rains of Castamere (Piano Version)

After my "The Hobbit - Misty Mountains (Piano Version)" video, I thought why not also add the most famous vocal song from the "Game of Thrones" universe to my Youtube catalog. Also, the trailer for the "Game of Thrones" prequel "House of the Dragon" came out recently. Probably the biggest thing the two songs have in common is that the lyrics are part of the original books ("Misty Mountains" lyrics by J. R. R. Tolkien and "The Rains of Castamere" lyrics by George R. R. Martin"). Both songs are sung by actors in the films, and the melodies are also used in the instrumental film scores. But what I particularly appreciate about "The Rains of Castamere" is that film composer Ramin Djawadi wrote the melody for the song himself. For "Misty Mountains", on the other hand, an external team of composers was hired. There are three well-known vocal versions of "The Rains of Castamere" by The National (Season 2), Sigur Ros (Season 4) and Serj Tankian (Season 8) and the popular instrumental version "A Lannister Always Pays His Debts" (Season 3). My piano version is mainly based on the version with Serj Tankian, but also has influences from "A Lannister Always Pays His Debts". I hope you like it!
