CAFA event activities have started this year with CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship in beautiful city of Tashkent. The tournament with a format of single round robin and in total of 6 matches, was held during the period between 25 – 31 January in Yunusabad Sport Complex. Four participating member associations competed for the trophy of CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship and team of IRAN was successful to repeat last year’s achievement without losing single match. Team of Uzbekistan was able to show great performance however last decisive match day was unsuccessful for the team. In the ultimate match day Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic team showed to the spectators and online viewers very exciting and competitive match.
As a result of all matches, Women’s team of I.R. Iran was the most successful to collect maximum points, Uzbekistan with their great performance reach the second on the table and team of Tajikistan gain the bronze medals of the tournament.
