All weekend we had a dry track and were shredding tyres on the rough Taupo surface. As we rolled into qualifying we set down a fast lap in the first few laps, lucky because on the 6th lap, our exhaust system gave up on us… We managed P3, but were in a hurry to get the car back out on track before race 1, thankfully the weekend was behind schedule and we managed to get out on track for race 1 with around 5 minutes to spare!

Race 1 we got off the line well and made up a place into turn 1 and took the lead in lap 1, then led the race from start to finish to cross the line 1st! 🥇

Race 2 we fought hard on the tyres we had on for round 1, while Toby opted for new tyres. This showed as we couldn’t answer to his green tyres and managed P2 this race. 🥈

Race 3 was much the same deal, but this time coming in P3, despite this I’m still really happy with the way we played the long game this weekend... Bring on Manfeild!

Overall we ended up 2nd for the event!
