In 1999, three student filmmakers set out to explore the legend of the Blair Witch in the dense, foreboding woods of Burkittsville, Maryland. As they document strange occurrences and eerie symbols, their investigation spirals into a nightmarish journey. What begins as a simple film project soon becomes a desperate fight for survival as they encounter a mystery that seems to be watching their every move.
