Johnny Colt (real name Charles Brandt) is an American bass guitarist, born May 1, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was the original bassist for The Black Crowes since 1989, recording four albums with them and touring extensively.
After 1997, he founded Brand New Immortals and joined Train (2003–2006).
In 2006, he became a member of Rock Star Supernova, replacing Jason Newsted (Metallica).
In 2012, he joined Lynyrd Skynyrd as bassist, but left the band in 2017.

Co-owner of Avatar Events Group, a music equipment rental company.
Co-founder of NoDa Studios, a rehearsal studio for musicians.
Hosted the radio show "Politely Disruptive" on AM1690 in Atlanta.
In 2009, he became the host of the show "At Full Volume" on the Travel Channel.
He participated in the reality show "Battle Ground Earth" with Tommy Lee and Ludacris.
