All the celluloid films and Kinescopes your watching in this video presentation is being restored by Joe Lauro and his Historic Films Archives.

I was first approached by Indiana University who were willing to acquire my collection, they said they had a budget to restore and transfer 500 films.

I had a thousand kinescopes and celluloid films stored in my apartment and when they came over to pick it up, I got daring and gave all of them. They had transferred about 700 prints.

Indiana University said they would pick up the films in my storage room that your watching now, but they wouldn't be able to transfer them right now. After paying five hundred dollars a month for over 15 years in storage fees, I was desperate to move them out.

I'm lucky Indiana University didn't get the films in storage, because Joe Lauruo came to my rescue, and acquired the entire collection, and has started restoring the films to 2k & 4k imagery.

Now at the time Indiana University said they would store all the films after Historic Films transferred them, so I could at least keep the collection together. But when the time came to start shipping them the films, they said they didn't have a budget to due anything more with me.

Maybe some where out there some one could find me a school to donate the collection of a few thousand rare and in most cases one of a kind films and Kinescopes. They could work out a deal to purchase copies of the films as well from Joe Lauro. The quality of the transfers are AMAZING. Contact me at VIDRES@AOL.com
