Hyundai Motor Group declared its mission to enter the world's developing advanced air transportation market in 2020 by introducing its S-A1 eVTOL air taxi concept design. Over the years, Hyundai Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and its eVTOL division, Supernal, based in the United States, worked to develop and perfect the platform's design fundamentals.
