If you love scenic train journeys, this one is a must! The Belle Époque Train runs from Montreux to Gstaad and Zweisimmen (and back), offering breathtaking views of the Swiss countryside in a vintage-style carriage that feels straight out of a movie.

• Montreux → Zweisimmen: 9:50 AM & 2:50 PM
• Zweisimmen → Montreux: 12:02 PM & 5:02 PM

💰 Price

• First-class: CHF 59 + CHF 10 for seat reservation ($82 USD)
• Second-class: CHF 34 ($39 USD)
• FREE if you have a Swiss Travel Pass!

Make sure you book the Belle Époque train specifically, not the GoldenPass Panoramic, so you get to ride in these beautiful vintage carriages.

🍽️ Food & Drinks

There was no food or drink service on our train, so we brought everything you see in the setup, including the teapots, plateware, and all the treats, to create our own experience for this video! If you plan to take this journey, we highly recommend packing a picnic!

Tickets are available on the Swiss Railway (SBB) website or at the train station. If you’re on a budget, you can book a shorter ride (e.g., Gstaad to Zweisimmen) for a lower price while still experiencing the train.
