I was looking to do a Pergola Build and I was almost finished gathering all the materials and prices when I found a kit on Amazon that was Cedar and cheaper than the pressure-treated lumber I was planning on purchasing. I decided to give it a go and see how good (or bad) the overall finished product was and if this was a smart move or one I would grow to regret. I will share the full build, any modifications I made, and my end recommendation if I recommend this kit for your own outdoor needs.
