IFBB Pro League Wellness Criteria

IFBB Pro League Wellness Criteria From NPC/IFBB Professional League VP Tyler Manion What we want to see: Front pose: Capped shoulders that are at most slightly bigger than what we see in bikini. Hourglass shape in the upper body down through the glutes. We can still see the Glute fullness that completes the hourglass shape from the front. Quads that have a little bit of sweep to them with slight separation. Side Poses: Capped shoulders that are at most slightly bigger than what we see in bikini. Hourglass shape in the upper down through the glutes. We want to see glute fullness from the side. Development to the quads and hamstrings and enough development that there is a clear delineation between the quads and hamstrings. This should create a more balanced look to the side leg and not overly quad dominant. Back Pose: Full, round glutes that are very developed with clear tie ins. Some hamstring development that isn’t too densely muscled or etched in. Some quad sweep but not over the top. -There should be balance between the glutes and overall leg size as well!! What we don’t want to see: -Too much muscle in the upper body (big, dense, striated shoulders and thick, vascular, big arms) -There shouldn’t be upper to lower body symmetry. The upper body should be much smaller than the lower body -Thick, dense and wide waists -Huge legs that are heavily and densely muscled and look like Women’s BB legs -Legs that are very dominant with little balance either way between the quads and hamstrings -Overly developed or etched in hamstrings from the back -Striations anywhere on the body or deep separation or a stringy look to the muscle -Pushing out your quads on your back pose to try and make your legs look bigger. What we want to see:
