Orchha is a historic town in Madhya Pradesh, India, founded in 1531. It is renowned for its remarkable blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture, presented in ornate palaces, temples, and cenotaphs. Orchha was at the heart of many prominent royal dynasties for nearly 300 years.
The historic ensemble of Orchha is listed on the Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
