The unit that we have got is a 16GB variant and ofcourse the memory can be expandable upto 128GB. The boxed package comes with a charging adapter of 2000 mA which helps to charge quick, USB cable that can be used to charge the device and for data transfer, a sim card ejector, i would say it is not actually a sim card ejector since the device is wifi version only, but this ejector pin can be used to pop out the memory card tray and finally we have few instruction manuals.

Coming to the specs, Xiaomi MiPad tablet with 7.9 inch 2048x1536 display with 324 pixels per inch and is powered by NVIDIA Tegra K1 2.2GHz processor alongside 2GB RAM and 8-megapixel rear facing camera. The display however does come with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Mi Pad comes with 6700mah battery that lasts about 11 to 13 hours of continuous moderate usage.

On the top we have 5MP front facing camera and at the bottom we have capacitive buttons which are backlit. To the back we have rear facing camera of 8 mega pixels with two micro phones which the best part I can say and to the bottom we have Mi branded logo with two speakers.

To this side we have a slot to add microSD card, to the bottom we have a port to charge the device, on the other side we have power button and volume rockers and to the top we have 3.5mm headphone jack.

As we have already said it sports 324 pixels per inch, you won't see any pixels on the screen. When we compare it with iPad mini, we can see huge difference in pixels and here Mi Pad wins. Everything is crystal clear and the touch response is impressive. Since this tablet runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with the usual MIUI on top of it. The latest MIUI 6 does bring a flatter design to Xiaomi devices which looks better than MIUI 5. You are allowed to customize the tablet to a few extent like adding widgets, changing themes, applying new transitions etc.

After the initial boot, the device is free to store 12.6 Gigs of data. However you can extend the memory up to 128GB using MicroSD card slot.
