There is no single answer to the question of "how big is the universe." The size depends on whether you are talking about the observable universe or the entire universe.

The observable universe is a sphere with a diameter of about 93 billion light-years. This is the region of space from which light has had time to reach us since the Big Bang. Because the universe is expanding, the objects at the edge of this observable "bubble" are now much farther away than the 13.8 billion light-years light has traveled to reach us.

Our universe is far bigger than this. The entire universe is thought to be much larger, and possibly infinite, but its true size is unknown. There is no reliable estimate for the full extent of the universe.
